Party Tips
Like any type of party, the success of the event comes down to your preparation. But most importantly, our advice is to keep it simple! Here are some simple ways to ensure your party is all you hope it to be:
Who Should You Invite?
Aim to have 10 - 12 definites. To get this number, you'll need to ask a few more because not everyone will be available on your date. Don't worry if you receive a few 'no's' - everyone is busy these days. Ask each guest to bring a friend - the more the merrier.- Start with family (mum, grandma, aunts, sisters, in-laws, etc), neighbours, work friends, etc. Check your mobile phone list, even your Facebook friends.
- If anyone can't make it, refer them to the Products section of our site or ask your Consultant to give you a catalogue. They can place an order with the rest of your guests. Remember, the more sales and outside bookings, the more free linen you can receive. Let them know that they too can have fun in their lounge room with a few friends and receive free and half-price linen by booking their own party.
- Ask your Consultant about invitations: you have the choice of email invitations or postal invitations - whichever you prefer. Your Consultant will arrange them for you.
- Remind your guests the day before. Busy lives can mean some people forget - and they won't want to miss out.
At Your Party
- We want you to have a good time, so keep refreshments simple!
- Tea and coffee with some biscuits and cake, or wine with cheese and biscuits is a good way to go. If your spread is too elaborate, your guests may be more interested in eating than shopping.
- Serve your refreshments once shopping time is over. Check with your Consultant what time this is likely to be.
