Q. How much will I earn as a Lorraine Lea Linen Consultant?
A. Each Consultant starts on a 20% Party Profit rate. The average amount earned from each linen party held is $180. This is based on the Company party average of $900. Therefore, if you hold 3 linen parties per week, you will earn approximately $540 p.w. This income is for approximately 12 hours work = $45 per hour. Each week all monies earned are electronically paid into a nominated bank account, giving you immediate access to your Party Profits.
Q. How much will a Lorraine Lea Kit cost?
A. There are 2 levels of demonstration kit available to suit your budget: the $980 Kit contains product to the value of approximately $1,600 retail; and the smaller Kit is $580AU / $680NZ. If you host your own party and decide to become a Consultant, you can use your party credits as a deposit on your Kit. Should you then choose to pay off your Kit off through your Party Profits, the deposit is deducted from the total amount owing and the balance is deducted from the Party Profits you earn as you do your first 8 linen parties.
Q. How much does it actually cost to get started?
A. It's easy to start your party plan career with Lorraine Lea Linen. The initial outlay for your Starter Kit is $150 deposit. Your Starter Kit includes a large range of products to demonstrate at your parties, a set of our very extensive product catalogues and all necessary stationery.
Q. Am I required to do anything else before I get started?
A. Your Manager will ask you to organise 8 starter parties and attend at least 2 training parties to see first hand what party plan with Lorraine Lea Linen is all about.
Q. Can I buy more products for my Kit?
A.Yes you can. Once your Kit has been paid in full you may add any additional stock for display purposes at a special Kit price of 40% off retail. You may order the stock you require and it will be sent to you with the cost being deducted from your Party Profits. Alternatively, you may pay by credit card or cheque when you place your order.
Q. Can I purchase linen for myself?
A. As a Lorraine Lea party plan Consultant you certainly can. You may purchase linen for yourself and for your immediate family at the "personal purchase" price of 40% off retail.
Q. Do I have to do a certain amount of parties to remain on the Company's books?
A. You are running your own linen party plan business and you choose the hours and the days you work. However, we recommend that a minimum of 2 parties are held each week to ensure you are running a viable business. You are also required to attend a Unit meeting each month and phone your Manager once a week.
Q. Can I hold parties in other areas and states/regions in Australia and New Zealand?
A. Yes you can. There are no boundaries to where you can hold linen parties. Different areas do have different customer handling and insurance charges so you'll need to speak to our Customer Service Department if you are holding a party in another area so that the correct handling and insurance charge can be applied.
Q. What is my relationship with Lorraine Lea Linen Pty Ltd?
A. All independent Consultants and Managers are operating their own party plan business, enabling them the flexibility to earn the income they desire. You can take pride in owning your own business where you are the boss and you are in control of your career.
Q.Can I become a Manager?
A. Yes you can. Lorraine Lea Linen have an extensive management career plan where you can make a real career of your business.
